I posted it to FB to tell my followers to check out the app. But when you click on the link on your phone it tells you to be on Safari to download. It’d be nicer if it directed you to the App Store instead. Since it is an app.

This sometimes happens when users do not have their device configured in a certain way. To follow the link, simply tap on the three horizontal dots located in the upper right-hander corner of the screen. From here, tap “Open in Safari” and it will take you directly to the link.

Don't send listing agent information with app
The app is not branded to the agent that sends it. Each listing has the listing agents information and phone number right at the top of the screen. It should be the info of the agent that sent the app to that person.

Thanks for the suggestion about only sharing the agent who shared the app with a client in the HomeSpotter app.
This is currently a feature of the app. Anytime you share your app with clients and they download HomeSpotter from your branded link, you’ll be the only agent they see in the app. Here are a couple articles you may find helpful:

Any section that you see as an agent that has a lock next to it is for agents eyes only, and this includes listing agent.

Hello Everyone-
We’re excited to announce that we’ve updated the HomeSpotter app to allow verified agents to edit their own profiles.
From the app’s menu, tap on your name to get your your profile. You’ll now see an option to edit in the top right corner. You can edit your first, last and office name as well as upload a photo to your agent profile. This information will be shown to your clients when they download your branded version of the HomeSpotter app.
Other updates made to the app on 7/16/2016:
- Registration is now quicker than ever – especially for agents at partnering MLSs and for anyone that receives an invite from someone else
- Delete chats you no longer want to see
- Push notifications for chats now trigger a sound
- Various improvements to performance
