Need a pop up alert on lock screen to show there is a message that is unread. And bigger notification in the app.

i was getting an initial message sound and a red dot on app icon but it swems to have disappeared-now i dont know when they message me

It would be very helpful if a client sends you s message through the app that you get a notification on the app icon when it's closed!
